2017 Alfa Romeo 4C
The 2017 Alfa Romeo 4C is a 2-seat luxury sports car made in Italy. The 4C has a mid-sized engine with good acceleration due to its light weight. It doesn’t come with power steering so it takes a bit of muscle to steer at the lower speeds.
The Alfa Romeo 4C can be purchased as either a convertible (Spider) or a Coupe. It’s fitted with a 237 horsepower 1.7-liter engine that’s paired with a 6-speed auto-shift manual. The 4C has an acceleration of 0-60 mph in 4.1 seconds.
The 4C was first introduced onto the market in 2014 and since that time hasn’t had any major design changes. The 2017 model of the 4C is essentially the same as last year’s version.
The interior of the Alfa Romeo 4C is pretty bare bones and you can even see some of the frame of the body in some places. Where it is covered it’s made from cheap, lightweight material. Alfa Romeo have made weight savings a priority over anything else.
The 4C is also pretty cramped. If you’re even of average hight and build you may have trouble getting into the tight space of the drivers seat. There’s enough cargo space for one backpack and that’s about it. It has 3.7 cu.ft. of cargo space.
The price for the Alfa Romeo 4C starts at $55,900 for the Coupe. The Spider (convertible) is $10,000 more expensive with a starting price of $65,900.
The 2017 Alfa Romeo 4C sits on the lower end of the sports car lineup. There are other cars to choose from around the same price with better performance and design. Some other sports cars to look at are the 2016 Porsche Boxter, the Porsche Cayman and the 2016 Chevrolet Corvette.
