The Audi A4 is ranked as the top luxury compact car on Rankings and Reviews. It’s available in an all-wheel drive with the Quattro trim. On the downside it has a small amount of space and a small cargo area. The technology is starting to look dated and it doesn’t come with any USB ports.

The Audi vehicles have a unique design that are difficult to distinguish between generations. This model has a classic look with firm lines. It comes with turbocharged petrol and diesel engines and technology designed to lower emissions and fuel consumption.


The sedan model of the Audi A4 has a height of 1427 cm, width of 1842 cm and a length of 4726 cm. The base model is front-wheel drive with an automatic transmission. It has a 2.0 liter turbocharged engine that makes 220 horsepower. The A4 can be upgraded to an all-wheel drive and choose either the 6-speed manual or 8-speed automatic.

The Audi A4 gets 24 mpg in the city and 31 mpg on the highway, slightly lower than some of its competitors in the small car market. The A4 Quattro has an even lower fuel economy with 21 in the city and 30 on the highway.

The 2016 Auid A4 has a soft comfortable interior with firm suspension. Audi have tried to tread the fine line between comfort and sports performance which they’ve managed to do pretty well. It comes with the Audi Drive Select system which allows you to change the drive performance based on your situation.

The interior of the A4 has been described as being elegant and yet simple. There’s plenty of room for full-sized adults in the back and the seats come with leather surfaces as standard on all trims. A sports package is available to upgrade to sports performance seats with additional side support. The rearview camera, heated seats and seat position memory are optional upgrades.

Cargo space in the Audi A4 is pretty comparable with its rivals. You’ll get 12.4 cu. ft. of space in the trunk. If you think you’ll need more than this you may want to consider upgrading to the medium-sized car market.

While the interior of the Audi A4 looks elegant it does lack some essential technology such as a USB port for charging your phone or connecting for data transfers. It does however come with a bluetooth telephone and sunroof as standard.


The 2016 Audi A4 has a base price of $35,900. You can add a few thousand to this price if you want to add one of the available packages. The Premium Plus trim has 18-inch wheels, keyless entry and heated seats which will cost an extra $2,100. On the top end the Prestige model comes at a base price of $55,100.
