Specs

The 2016 Audi A6 comes with both better fuel economy than previous years and a more powerful engine. The standard version of the A6 comes with a 2.0 liter 4-cylinder engine that gets 252 hp. A significant improvement over the 220 hp from last year. The turbocharged 3.0 liter V6 engine makes 333 hp.

If that’s still not fast enough the S6 comes with a 4.0 liter V8 engine that makes 450 hp. The S6 has a top speed of 155 mph and is able to reach 0-60 mph in just 4.4 seconds.

The standard 2.0 liter engine gets 24 mpg in the city and 35 on the highway. It comes with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. We’ve seen significant improvements in fuel economy over the years. With the standard 2.0 liter engine having plenty of power while still conserving fuel.

All-wheel drive comes as standard for all but the basic trim. Handling is very good although some say it becomes a little too firm with the optional 20-inch wheels. The brakes are good without being overly sensitve or causing nose-dives. While larger than the A5 and A4, the Auid A6 is still surprisingly agile around corners.
