Interior

The 2017 Subaru Forester has had additional soundproofing in the cabin to make it a quieter ride. Subaru have done this by making thicker door glass and improving the door seals. Previous Forester models have received complaints about the noise level and Subaru and have tried to rectify that with the 2017 Forester. Other notable features are the hill-descent control and traction system which is now available as standard on the Forester.

Subaru have tried to keep the interior cabin simple and yet elegant. Visually it meets up to the standard of other SUVs on the market around the same price. It comes with a 6.2 inch touchscreen on the base model which is upgraded to a 7-inch touchscreen with swipe features on all the higher models.

The base model, the 2.5i, comes with a 4-speaker audio system. All other trims use a 6 or 8-speaker audio system. Automatic climate control comes as standard with dual-zone climate control available as an upgrade. Cargo area for all models is 31.5 cu. ft of space.
